Carl Starfelt appears to have made a rapid recovery from the injury he suffered on international duty at the start of the month.Â
The Swedish defender was stretchered off just before half time in the Nations League tie away to Slovenia on June 2.Â
Some doom and gloom forecasts were being made about the extent of the injury which varied from a hamstring pull to a back problem.Â
With Chris Jullien on the sidelines and Cameron Carter-Vickers still to be signed up it was being suggested that central defence would have to become a transfer priority for Ange Postecoglou.Â

The video clip above suggests that all is well with Starfelt as he enjoyed a training session on the beach that would test out any hamstring or back injury.Â
With Carter-Vickers signed on a permanent basis and Stephen Welsh on stand-by the hoops look reasonably well covered in central defence for the challenges of the new season.Â
