Gareth Bale snubs Ibrox noises to join Los Angeles FC

Gareth Bale WON’T be joining The Tribute Act.

Over the last few weeks the Daily Record has been keen to push the idea, at one stage claiming that the Ibrox side were among the favourites to sign the Welsh legend who left Real Madrid at the end of the season.

This afternoon it was confirmed that Bale will be using Los Angeles FC to prepare for the World Cup Finals in November.

It seems that the memory of providing Aaron Ramsey with fitness facilities hasn’t registered with the Record Sports Desk, the on loan Juventus flop never completed a full 90 minutes but was there when required as Wales beat Austria and Ukraine to reach Qatar.

So far in the transfer window John Souttar is the only addition to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s squad although Connor Goldson, Steve Davis, Allan McGregor and Scott Arfield have signed new contracts.
