Lanus are reported to be looking for a fee of £4m for Alexandro Bernabei.
Celtic have strongly been linked with the left-back over the last week but that fee seems to be on the high side for a 21-year-old in his second season of first team football.
Ange Postecoglou has found incredible value for money in the transfer market with the combined fees for Josip Juranovic and Matt O’Riley coming in at around £4m.
With Bernabei missing Lanus’ last two matches and reported to have visited Europe it looks like a transfer is in the pipeline with his club aiming high with their asking price.
Celtic are in advanced talks with Dundee United keeper Benjamin Siegrist.
They’re also continuing their pursuit of Lanus left-back Alexandro Bernabei. The clubs have so far failed to agree on a valuation for the 21-year-old. Lanus said to be wanting around £4m.

Add-ons seem to be an essential part of transfer deals these days which allows the buying and selling clubs to claim that they got the deal on their terms.
Payments based on appearances can cover both ends while a 10% sell on clause almost seems standard.
Celtic have also been linked with Mohaned Jeaze of Hammarby but there doesn’t appear to be much movement on that, both Jeaze and Bernaabei have a year left to run on their contracts.
