Almost three weeks on from Celtic’s last match of the season there is very little information about how negotiations are going to sign Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota.

Loan deals were completed at the end of the summer transfer window accompanied by reports that ‘options to buy’ were included.

Both players were major factors in Celtic’s success over the season without any hint of negativity despite the usual criticisms of Scottish football being on hand.

Within a couple of days of the season ending Jota and Carter-Vickers were sharing images on holiday with Carl Starfelt, Stephen Welsh and Tony Ralston as they enjoyed some sunshine in Ibiza.

Nothing has been said officially but shedding a little light on the negotiations M1K3Y89, who has a decent track record posting on the Kerrydale Street message board, claims:

Apparently we are closer here than with Jota

And the Jota stuff seems pretty close

Hopefully sooner rather than later for both

Last night The Sun published an interview with Carter-Vickers who returned to the USA National side, there were no real hints either way in the interview with the deal down to the two clubs to resolve.

Celtic have still to issue any details of the kits that they will be wearing, perhaps the launch is being kept back to coincide with the two high profile signings with Daizen Maeda making his loan a permanent deal.

Kerrydale Street has been on the go for over 20 years with more than 22,000 registered members. The Carter-Vickers thread has attracted 1,400 comments since being opened last July.
