Manchester United are lining up a shock swoop for Robby McCrorie!

It seems that the former Morton, Queen of the South and Livingston loan keeper has caught the eye of Erik ten Hag as he plans his Old Trafford revolution.

Kid gloves McCrorie has a year left on his Ibrox contract but with his club desperately trying to bring in funds after successive failures to shift any deadwood he could be on his way to the EPL.

The Sun reports:

NEW Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has plans to lure Robby McCrorie away from Rangers.

SunSport revealed yesterday that Gers are braced for summer bids for Scotland squad keeper McCrorie.

Jon McLaughlin is set to start the new season as Ibrox No1 — with Allan McGregor’s future uncertain amid interest from the UAE.

And there is interest in highly-rated McCrorie from north and south of the border, with former European champions United among them. Ten Hag has inherited a goalkeeping problem beneath No?1 David de Gea.

With Allan McGregor out of contract United might find another Ibrox keeper to their liking.
