Ibrox fans are growing increasing concerned about the slow progress of Edmiston House, the showpiece construction to mark 10 years of the Tribute Act.

Fittingly part of the development will include a concert arena capable of hosting Elvis Pressley, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Michael Jackson and other stars from the past.

Fans rushed forward to pay £150 for the Founders Pack containing a variety of tat including an exclusive gift, special welcome pack, a certificate signed by Douglas Park and priority booking.

Halfway through 2022 the venue is being described as a medium sized Starbucks with little sign of progress from month to month.

On 6 December 2021, Dave Pyatt, General Manager for New Edmiston House, told the club website:

Braving the occasionally inhospitable Glasgow weather, the team have been forging forward making great progress on site in recent weeks, as any passer-by will have noticed.

With groundworks now completed, focus has now shifted to the steel structure of the development, as the true scale of New Edmiston House begins to emerge.

Over the coming weeks and months, we look forward to sharing further updates as these various elements start to take shape.

The report added:

Housing an improved two-story Rangers Store, Café, Events Space and Museum celebrating the club history and future, New Edmiston House will be a signature project celebrating the clubs 150th anniversary year, demonstrating the clubs commitment to investing in the next 150 years.

The official opening has still to be announced, it is unlikely that they’ll be taking orders for the Christmas season. There are no plans to add a Super Casino to the project or heliport and retractable pitch.

No where near big enough for a museum?
To house the Petrofac, one league title and some blue carpet?

Of course they’ll fit their museum in there…it only has to cover 10 years so not a great deal of space required.

It always used to feel like we’d be the ones trying to “keep up with the Joneses” but doing it on the cheap and nasty but since the birth of Sevco that has gone and now we’re the high-end class act. That shambles across the river makes even the days of the Kellys and Whites look professional by comparison! It seems the banter years will never end, truly a wonderful time to be a Tim…

Might have a retractable museum tho

Will it have enough toilets for them to drink out of?
