Three EPL clubs join the race for Aribo- classic Daily Record transfer tale

Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Glen Kamara and Calvin Bassey have all been recent subjects without a single bid coming in for transfer guru Ross Wilson to consider. 

With 12 months left on the contract that he signed from Charlton in 2019 Aribo holds all the aces this summer, getting paid less than a quarter of what Kemar Roofe and John Lundstrum pick up won’t have gone un-noticed in the Ibrox dressing room.

In-demand Joe Aribo is reportedly attracting interest from a trio of English Premier League clubs this summer as Rangers face a battle to keep their key man. 

Aribo has been heavily linked with Crystal Palace this summer but two other potential suitors have been named by the Nigerian media as targeting the playmaker. AllNigeriaSport report that newly promoted Fulham and Nottingham Forest are keen on a deal for the 25-year-old this summer as the look to boost their ranks for English football’s top table. 

Any fee above £4m would be good going for the 25-year-old, a bidding war is highly unlikely for the former Charlton starlet.
