Joe Hart isn’t slow to praise his skipper, even on holiday he is singing the praises of Callum McGregor.
The former England keeper knows the ropes with social media, when he caught up with a fan with a phone he would have known that it wouldn’t take long for his song of praise to go viral.
Hart has thrown himself completely in to playing for Celtic, embracing the environment and pressure that looked to be evading him as his career tailed off from the highs at Manchester City.
As soon as he joined Celtic, Hart went out of his way to paise McGregor. With his own CV and medal collection the goalkeeper might have been looking for the captaincy but has been more than happy to play a supporting role to the home-grown midfielder.
Early next month Hart and McGregor will link up again when Celtic head to Austria for pre-season training with Cameron Carter-Vickers also onboard after signing a four year contract.
