According to Twitter’s leading transfer guru Celtic are in advanced talks with Paris Saint Germain over the signing of Edouard Michut.
The midfielder has a contract running until June 2025 but like almost all players coming through the ranks with PSG the prospects of a first team breakthrough are slim.
So far the bulk of Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic signings have been ready to go straight into first team action with four players from the J-League, Josip Juranovic, Carl Starfelt and Giorgos Gioakoumakis all in the 24-27 age bracket.

Matt O’Riley and Alexandro Bernabei have been younger signings but interest in Michut appears to be a throwback to taking Odsonne Edouard and Timo Weah on loan from PSG.
Postecoglou is expected to speak to the media after today’s match against Banik Ostrava where he is likely to be asked about the extent of interest in Michut.
