Ange Postecoglou is relaxed about the process of players moving out of Celtic.

Season Two kicked off in Austria yesterday with a 7-0 win over Wiener Viktoria without any of the players that were involved in international football into June.

A year ago Ismaila Soro and Boli Bolingoli were involved as Postecoglou picked up the reigns in Wales but neither were on show yesterday

Albian Ajeti played in the second half of yesterday’s opener but has fallen out of contention with little sign that he can play his way back into contention.

Postecoglou inherited those three players last summer, but, like Vasilis Bakas, the Celtic boss will leave it in the hands of others to find clubs willing to offer them a way out.

Football Scotland reports Postecoglou saying:

We’ll probably play 60 games this year, and with the World Cup break it’s going to be a pretty congested schedule either side of it.

So we’re going to need a strong squad, but in terms of players departing it’s no different to last year. I’m pretty comfortable with it, that will all take care of itself.

The ones who see their futures elsewhere or are looking for opportunities elsewhere, if that comes along it comes along.

At the moment, whoever is in the squad, I treat them as if they are going to stay in the squad – unless they say otherwise.

Celtic have two more matches to play from their Austrian training base with those matches likely to be centered around the international players that missed out yesterday.

Incoming plans seem to be advancing but getting Bolingoli, Soro and Ajeti off the wage-bill will please the club accountants with Chris Jullien also a possibility to be moving on after flying out for talks with Schalke last week.
