Callum McGregor took a break from his new season preparations to travel to Falkirk today for an event to promote the sponsorship of the SPFL by car firm cinch.

Eleven of the Premiership clubs are taking part in the sponsorship with James Tavernier excused the chore with his club not taking part in the sponsorship deal.

Rylan was on hand to pose with each of the skippers including lookalike and former Celt Craig Gordon who is still going strong as he prepares to celebrate his 40th birthday in mid-season.

The Ibrox boycott has brought cinch additional profile this season in what must be a unique sponsorship deal that isn’t endorsed by all member clubs.

Last season there was no official flag unfurling ceremony at Ibrox as they used a non-branded flag, on Sunday at home to Aberdeen no-one will be left in any doubt about which car firm sponsors the most coveted prize in Scottish football.
