Alfredo Morelos joined Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s squad that flew out to Portugal today but was barely recognisable from his look season.
Wearing shades, strange golden/silver highlights in his hair and carrying some excess timber he didn’t look like a striker four weeks away from playing in Champions League qualifiers.
Can’t be real… is this the shape he’s turned up in? ? pic.twitter.com/gzgjuCyOG1

Morelos hasn’t played since March 20 when he was substituted during the 2-1 win away to Dundee. Within a week he had flown out to Colombia, been sent home from international duty then carted off to London for surgery on a thigh injury. Since then his social media accounts would suggest that he has enjoyed his break from the game.
After missing Saturday’s closed doors match against Partick Thistle van Bronckhorst will be hoping to have his star striker available for Saturday’s friendly against Sunderland.
