Celtic are still interested in signing Ryan Mmaee of Ferencvaros according to the respected member, Pendy 12 on the Kerrydale Street website.
The 24-year-old is currently injured but has caught the eye internationally with two solid seasons for Ferencvaros who have faced Celtic three times in the last two years.
After retaining last season’s loanees Ange Postecoglou has added a goalkeeper, central defender, left-back and midfielder to his squad but so far no forward players have been added.
Mmaee can play in any of the three forward positions, while Celtic currently appear strong in those areas there were times last season when they were caught short and forced to improvise.
Toulouse were recently quoted a price of 4m euros when they asked about Mmaee’s availability, if Mikey Johnston and Albian Ajeti move out on loan the Ferencvaros forward could again be the subject of speculation over a move to Celtic.
