Douglas Ross will return to football this weekend, picking up a flag, an appearance fee and expenses from the Elgin City v Queens Park League Cup tie.

The match will be played just seven miles from Ross’ hometown which seems like another example of the SFA allowing the nominal leader of the Scottish Tories to select his own fixtures.

Since he last ‘ran’ the line in a football match Ross’ waistline and chin count has ballooned but with strict fitness checks from the SFA there shouldn’t be any problem for the Westminster MP to keep up with play.

Ross has been involved in some expenses scandals while juggling three jobs, his desire for match fees forced him to apologise after missing a local VJ Memorial in order to pick up his £450 match fee from a match at Kilmarnock plus generous mileage and other expenses.

During the first five months of the 20/21 (Lockdown season) the SFA helpfully gave Ross seven weekend appointments at Ibrox, Celtic Park and Hampden which allowed him to carry out work on behalf of the Tory party with easy flights to and from London.

Ross doesn’t do midweek matches due to his two other jobs but can always find time at weekends with the majority of his matches far from his Moray constituents.

Disgusting obnoxious scruple-free squeaky-voiced tub of lard. He typifies the current rot in morality inside the Tory party and the SFA.
