Galatasaray are reported to be in talks to sign Ryan Kent.

The former Liverpool starlet is in the final season of his Ibrox contract and has given no indication that he is looking to extend his stay.

Steven Gerrard took Kent on loan from Liverpool in 2018 then secured a permanent deal a year later for a fee reported to be £7m.

After winning two trophies out of 12 at Ibrox it looks like the winger will be moving on with Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo already brought in as replacements.

Turkish site Spor Haber 7 reports:

While transferring to the offensive line continues in Galatasaray, another surprise name came to the agenda : Ryan Kent. For the 25-year-old English player wearing the Rangers jersey, the yellow-reds started their contacts, while the Scottish team is looking forward to leaving with a suitable testimonial due to 1 season contract remaining.

While the yellow-red managers continued their contacts to persuade the player, they also started testimonial talks with the managers of the Scottish team. Although the market value is 17.5 million Euros, the wages determined by Galatasaray are 7-8 million Euros with bonuses.

Seven million euros should be more than enough to pay a transfer and signing on details with the gullible fed tales about another seven million in add-ons.

Having sold Joe Aribo to Southampton for £6m the hype, moonbeams and myths surrounding the value of Ibrox stars has been demolished.

Alfredo Morelos’ conditioning issue mean that offers are unlikely- increasing the pressure of transfer guru Ross Wilson to sell Kent before he can sign a pre-contract deal in January.
