The Green Brigade have clearly had a busy close season with their efforts on show at yesterday’s home match against Blackburn Rovers.

Some highly impressive murals cover the concourse between the North Stand and the Lisbon Lions Stand highlighting the projects and principles of the Ultras Group.

After a season of Lockdown the passion and support from the Green Brigade was evident throughout last season with Ange Postecoglou and his players feeding off that backing.

It seems difficult to imagine but a year ago just 2,000 fans were allowed to watch the pre-season friendly against Preston North End.

During July and August the capacity was slowly increased with the first full house coming against Jablonec in the Europa League. They were treated to the sight of a Celtic goalkeeper making saves as a bonus.

In mid May Celtic Park had a very familiar feel about it as 60,000 celebrated Presentation Day with a new batch of heroes celebrated in song by the Green Brigade with Jota and Kyogo ‘interacting’ fully with the celebrating fans.
