More than a day after the final whistle was blown on the friendly against Spurs, BBC Scotland have decided to cover the violent scenes before the match.

One Police Officer was injured at lunchtime on Saturday as supporters battled on Paisley Road West which is literally on the doorstep of the state broadcasters Scottish HQ. The incidents were well covered on social media with a few newspapers also deciding that it was worth covering.

The nameless BBC Scotland report carefully avoids suggesting what group of supporters were involved in the violence.

Last week after a farcical seven year stand off between the BBC and the Tribute Act a peace agreement was announced.

On Saturday Ibrox fanatic Kenny Macintyre will front up coverage on Radio Scotland with Steven EBT Thompson continuing with his dull, bland and boringly predictable presentation style on Sportscene.
