Angelo Fulgini of French side Angers is being lined up for a stunning Ibrox swoop.

With Joe Aribo taking his time over completing a Southampton medical Giovanni van Bronckhorst is looking to replace the only midfielder in his squad capable of scoring goals.

Rated in the £7m category with a year to run on his contract Fulgini is a useful deflection tactic with the Ibrox club highly unlikely to be serious contenders for the attacking midfielder.

So far in the transfer window van Bronckhorst has added an injury jinxed defender from Hearts, a 28-year-old journeyman striker from PAOK and a winger just relegated from the English Championship with a character stain for drunk-driving that was a red flag for other clubs from that division.

In three weeks time van Bronckhorst’s side open their SPFL campaign with Colak likely to be the only available striker.

Kemar Roofe was left out of the squad that flew out to Portugal to step up pre-season training while Alfredo Morelos has been working in the gym and yet to be seen on the training ground.

On August 2/3 the Ibrox side will be involved in a Third Round qualifier for the Champions League.

“Angers SCO have rejected multiple bids from Rangers (sic)…”

They’ll have bid £2.50, been told where to get tae, and can honestly tell their horde that “We tried to get a £7m player…”. The horde being the horde they’ll lap that shite right up….fuds.
Sevco really would have to sell their duds for Dembele dollars before they could dream of even spending.£5m…Hell they had to haggle mercilessly over the Kolak fee which wasn’t even half of that…
