Serial loser Murdo Fraser congratulates Glasgow City Council as they laugh at 276 Rangers creditors

Glasgow City Council joined in the lies last night to honour a club that died in 2012 leaving 276 creditors high and dry, many of them businesses across and around the city including florists, taxi firms, newsagents and a face painter.

Strathclyde Police were owed £51,882, the Scottish Ambulance Service £8438, the Council itself was owed £7008.21 but that mattered little to Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren as she cracked open the champagne and made a dent in the hospitality budget overlooking George Square which was twice trashed during Lockdown.

McLaren represents the Canal ward on Glasgow City Council, last night she wore orange as a nod towards the hate marchers that she allows to poison the city streets throughout the summer. At the May 2022 election she picked up 512 votes.

In May this year, celebrating her £44,039 salary, McLaren told the Glasgow City Council website: “I’m an ordinary Glaswegian who has been given an extraordinary opportunity to represent the people of my great city. People who know me, know what you see is what you get. I don’t have airs and graces. My plan is to work hard and be as accessible and open as possible representing my city and our citizens.

“I want the people of Glasgow to know that I am available to them and that I am here to serve them. The door of my office is open to them.”

Serial loser Murdo Fraser praised the City Council for last night’s waste of resources.

In 2019 Lord Provost Eva Bolander resigned over expenses claims of £8,000 which included 23 pairs of shoes that she claimed for on her City Council tab.
