Team News: Ange shows his strength with 15 subs listed to face Blackburn Rovers

Two months on from lifting the SPFL Premiership trophy after beating Motherwell 6-0 Celtic are back on home turf to take on Blackburn Rovers ahead of their defence of the title. 

Ange Postecoglou starts the match with what looks to be very close to his FIRST XI with a strong 15 named on the bench including Rocco Vata. 

Josip Juranovic and Greg Taylor are at full-back for the first time since April with Stephen Welsh continuing his partnership with Cameron Carter-Vickers in the centre of defence. 

As he did in the matches in Austria and the Czech Republic Postecoglou is likely to make a raft of substitutions with the next friendly away to Legia Warsaw on Wednesday. 

Former Malmo boss Jon Dahl Tomasson is in charge of Blackburn.
