Team News: New signings miss out but Hatate starts against Legia Warsaw

Celtic take on Legia Warsaw this afternoon with a new look forward line, starting without Kyogo Furuhashi or Giorgos Giakoumakis. 

The former VVV Venlo striker was excused Saturday’s game against Blackburn Rovers to be with his wife while Kyogo is listed as a substitute with Daizen Maeda likely to play through the centre. 

There is no places for Aaron Mooy or Moritz Jenz in the squad but Reo Hatate starts after missing the last two friendlies, against Banik Ostrava and Blackburn. 

With Carl Starfelt still missing Stephen Welsh starts the fourth pre-season match running in central defence alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers. 

On Saturday Celtic face their final pre-season match when Norwich City visit the champions with flag day on July 31 when Aberdeen come to Celtic Park.
