Tom Rogic has returned to social media to congratulate international team-mate Aaron Mooy on joining Celtic.

Under a couple of different managers the midfielders have been regulars for the Socceroos with a Celtic reunion missed out by just a couple of months.

After an eventful time in China dominated by Lockdown Mooy has returned to his family home in Glasgow, after signing a contract at Celtic he can prepare for the World Cup Finals with his first ever appearances in the Champions League.

Those images were the first that Rogic has been on social media since he posted a farewell message to Celtic seven weeks ago.

Last season Postecoglou revived the career of the midfielder but with a one year option on his contract it was decided that nine trophy filled years would come to an end.

With European clubs back in training it is looking like Rogic’s future will be elsewhere with perhaps a short term deal somewhere ahead of the World Cup Finals before he nails down the next chapter in his career.
