Rabbi Matondo is an injury doubt for Giovanni van Bronckhorst on the eve of the new season.

Billed as faster than Usain Bolt when he was signed from Schalke earlier this month social media has been rife tonight with news that the Welshman has injured a hamstring.

The recovery timeline for such an injury can vary from three or four days to three or four months but firefighter Jonny McFarlane of The Rangers Review was dispatched to calm down fears that another crock has passed an Ibrox medical.

On Saturday van Bronckhorst’s side take on Livingston where the plastic pitch is likely to offer more resistance than the players selected by David Martindale.

Next Tuesday Union SG of Belgium provide the opposition in a Champions League qualifier which isn’t the sort of fixture to start with anyone bothered by a hamstring injury.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement, cheers big man.
There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same more than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying every success for Scotland's Most Successful Club.
