Fraser Fletcher seems absolutely desperate to join Macintyre, English and Lamont on the payroll of BBC Scotland.
A spell of work experience on the BBC Scotland Nine ‘flagship’ show seems to have fired up Fletch’s ambitions of a well paid hobby sharing bad news about Celtic while all is hunky dory with The Ibrox Tribute Act.
Earlier this week Fletcher tweeted about Rabbi Matondo turning down an offer from an SPL (SPFL surely?) club before jetting in to sign a dream move to Ibrox.
Showing the originality of thought that BBC Scotland is famous for, in mid-morning Fletcher decided to rake through previous transfer tales and re-heat the Ben Davies story.
? Celtic had made contact with Liverpool regarding centre back Ben Davies who Liverpool are looking to offload this summer. He is on a list of potential options.
However Blackburn are currently pushing hard for the centre back who has a value of around £2.5 million. ?? pic.twitter.com/eafHAMPRVw

January 2020 was one of the darkest months on memory for Celtic fans.
Starting off with a defeat at Ibrox, Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon opted on a training trip to Dubai to raise morale only to return home with 14 of the squad and two thirds of the management team forced to self isolate.
To complete a miserable month Lawwell opted to agree a pre-contract deal with Ben Davies only to find Liverpool splashing out £350,000 on transfer deadline day to sign the central defender from Preston.
Still waiting for his Anfield debut Davies is available for transfer after a season long loan at Sheffield United.
Fletch might enjoy a reheat but Ange Postecoglou has installed a recruitment system that extends beyond someone Lennon/Lawwell had previously checked out.
? EXCL – Rabbi Matondo had an option to join another Scottish Premier League club during his exit talks from Schalke over the last month.
However Rangers offer was accepted and the Welsh international has joined last years Europa League Finalists. ??????? pic.twitter.com/wnu98bEY3T

Today is my last shift at @BBCScotNine.
I was given an opportunity here that at one point in my life seemed impossible, for that I am eternally grateful. People like me didn’t belong at The BBC at one point, The Nine changed that..
Cheers and onward to what is next ?????? pic.twitter.com/zQl4gJHWLu

Important to note, Rangers paid around 300k for Calvin Bassey. The club is likely to make a 19.7 Million + profit on the player if he ends up going and they get 20 million +, which is highly likely
Rangers fans will be gutted to see him go but no denying, That’s good business ? pic.twitter.com/BwfXvTDT87
