Ange Postecoglou has admitted that Sead Haksabanovic is getting closer to becoming a Celtic player.
There was heavy speculation at the end of last week that the winger was on his way to joining Celtic from Rubin Kazan but the Celtic boss wasn’t encouraging any speculation at his media conference on Friday.
It seems that significant progress has been made over the weekend as Postecoglou conceded when he was asked about the winger following the 2-0 win over Hearts.

Yeah I think that’s a fair assessment – it’s getting closer.
With Russian clubs in limbo the deal with Rubin Kazan is more complex than the move a year ago that brought Carl Starfelt to Celtic in a £4m deal.
Haksabanovic hasn’t played for Rubin this season, returning home to Sweden waiting for his future to be decided.
Celtic have made seven signings during the transfer window, signing the 23-year-old international for Montenegro looks like completing Postecoglou’s attacking options with his preference being to play on the left-wing.
