Celtic fans worldwide were plunged into darkness during the second half of today’s match away to Ross County.

With no domestic broadcasting arrangement Celtic TV took the action worldwide with fans enjoying an interrupted view of the first half action from Dingwall.

Early in the second half Kyogo Furuhashi opened the scoring but in the 54th minute the screens went blank. Worse than that mobile phones were soon bleeping with notifications that Alex Iacovitti had equalised in the 58th minute.

Old fashioned radio commentary kept fans upto date but with Dingwall blanked out the clock was ticking away.

TV coverage was resumed, Moritz Jens headed in a debut goal in the 84th minute then the match was put beyond doubt in the first minute of stoppage when substitute Liel Abada curled home Celtic’s third to keep the hoops on top of the Premiership table.
