It was later than most fans would have wished but it is quite a stretch to claim that an 84th minute goal from Moritz Jenz rescued Celtic yesterday at Ross County.
Every week plenty of teams score around that time, with 77% possession, 23 shots at goal and 12 corners even by the BBC Scotland stats it was one-way traffic towards Ross Laidlaw in the home goal.
Moritz Jenz rescued Celtic with a late goal on his debut as the Scottish Premiership champions rallied to overcome impressive Ross County.

Impressive County had five shots at goal, two on target and three corners over 90 minutes.
Last December there was a very genuine rescue act by Tony Ralston against Ross County, when you nod in the winning goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time it is a rescue act multiplied by the great escape.
Jenz scored with 10 minutes of playing time left, enough time for Liel Abada to score another goal to give a far truer reflection on how the match had been played.
If the BBC were looking for a rescue act they could have turned to a penalty from Stevie May in the fourth minute of stoppage time for St Johnstone to beat Motherwell 2-1.
Lol someone is going to have rescue the BBC if the tories get their they are F****D should it be sold.
Orrrr……an 88th minute goal to finally secure the points at home against a team full of fans…..

What do you expect from the billy boys club
I was in the unfortunate position of having to listen to bbc Scotland sportsound in the car home to the highlands yesterday.
When RIFC were winning and Celtic drawing the banter and laughing and overall jollity in the studio was boak inducing.
Fast forward to a comfortable kinda late Celtic win and the tone changed markedly to one of quiet professional seething.
They make my skin crawl.
What a load of balls – literally from the BBC ! The look of disappointment on Jane Lewis’s boat on yesterday’s Sportscene Results show when Celtic scored a third was priceless. That’s the 3 main BBC Scotland football shows all hosted by The Rangers cheerleaders. Steven Thompson, Kenny (never hidden that ) McIntyre , and Lewis. Expect much, much ,more of the same from old auntie Beeb over the course of the season. All in neutrality of course!
The bias of BBC Scotland against Celtic is hard to underestimate. Being publically funded notwithstanding!
