Celtic will have the backing of almost 4,000 fans away to Kilmarnock a week on Sunday.

Away ticket allocations have been getting cut back across the board with just 1,399 tickets available for Celtic fans at Ross County on Saturday.

It is three seasons since Celtic were able to take fans to Rugby Park but for the third SPFL fixture of the season there will be away fans in the Chadwick and Moffat Stands.

Kilmarnock’s plastic will be a new experience for almost all of the Celtic squad with the Ayrshire side spending last season in The Championship.

Derek McInnes came in to replace Tommy Wright in January with the former Aberdeen boss one of the most experienced bosses in the Premiership.

Killie started their season with a 1-1 home draw at home to Dundee United, former Celt Kerr McInroy was in the starting XI with Calum Waters among the substitutes.

The Killie match kicks off at 12 noon and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
