Chelsea linked with August move for Celtic’s World Cup defender

Transfer

Chelsea are reported to be considering a move for Josip Juranovic.

The defender joined Celtic a year ago from Legia Warsaw, although he signed a five year contract an offer above £20m with a massive hike in wages would be hard for Celtic and the player to resist

Juranovic has constantly stated how happy he is with life at Celtic but playing in the Champions League for a London club appears to be a goal for many players across Europe.

Other than Jeremy Frimpong Celtic have struggled to find a replacement for Mikel Lustig at right-back but in Anthony Ralston they have a deputy that knows the Scottish game very well.
