Carlisle United are reported to be interested in signing Johnny Kenny on loan.
The striker joined Celtic from Sligo Rovers in January after an impressive season in the League of Ireland where he scored 11 goals in 32 appearances.
So far this season he has been playing in the Lowland League but matches against Caledonian Braves and Cumbernauld Colts are unlikely to develop the striker into a first team contender.
Carlisle have picked up five points from their first three matches in League Two and would certainly toughen up the young striker with meaningful matches.
