Three months on from the horrors of Seville the last thing that traumatised bears wanted was flashbacks at Ibrox last night.

Overlooking a defeat in the final of the Europa League, Ibrox media partners opted to focus on the lack of water for sale inside the Ramon Piswan Stadium before Aaron Ramsey took a penalty.

In predictable fashion the Ibrox club issued three statements demanding answers to the catering issues that resulted in disabled bears and pensioners slurping toilet water to stay alive. Strangely no video evidence has ever emerged of these incidents.

Over the last 20 years maintenance budgets at Ibrox have been virtually non-existent, weeds can be found growing all over the stadium while the exterior of The Old Lady is in need of much more than a makeover and lick of paint.

After attending last night’s match against PSV Eindhoven Markoburnso gave a very graphic description of the horrors he encountered.
