The SPFL Twitter account has decided to celebrate and share Kyogo Furuhashi’s goal away to Ross County with no mention of the crude challenge on Greg Taylor at the start of the move.
The build up and execution was very pleasing on the eye but thanks to the laid back approach to applying the laws of the game there could have been a casualty to go with the celebrations of the opening goal.
Connor Randall launched himself at Taylor, off the ground and with a straight left leg he was intent on ‘laying a marker’ on his opponent but fortunately the full-back was alert to the threat and managed to get out of the line of fire.
Jota took over, worked his way into the box to find Kyogo to net but it could have been a very costly goal for the visitors.
Needless to say referee Don Robertson took no retrospective action on Randall, a common trait in the style of the leading SFA official.

Why doesn’t the referee go back and card him? Will this be an issue fixed VAR maybe? Right decision to let play continue but completely reckless

That tackle on Taylor is a shocker

No mention of the tackle on Taylor in the build up. Team of cloggers.

Don Robertson was the referee in all of these games and he didn’t show a red card to any of the players. pic.twitter.com/0XYVErHAfr
