Paranoid McCoist launches new conspiracy

Ally McCoist has launched another rant against the Scottish football authorities.

The paranoid pundit knows how to press the buttons with the Gullible, raking in millions as he steered the Tribute Act to two lower division titles before opting for gardening leave when Hearts, Hibs, Falkirk and Alloa sussed him out in the Championship.

PSV Eindhoven have had their Dutch league fixture between the two legs of the Champions League Play-Off postponed while it is business as usual in Scotland with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side away to Hibs before the travel to the Phillips Stadium for the £30m decider.

No Scottish club has ever had a match postponed to help them prepare for a UEFA qualifier but when it comes to clubs from Ibrox McCoist expects the rules to be set aside.

Back in December 2007 Celtic played Shakhtar Donestsk, Hearts and AC Milan over eight days while the SPL postponed a match against Gretna (google them) to give Sir Walter’s side 10 days to prepare for a 3-0 home humping from Lyon.

Five months later the SPL inconvenienced six other clubs to extend their season to a Thursday night- a move that has never been repeated.

Moaning about playing Hibs four days before PSV Eindhoven on TalkSPORT, the Daily Record reports McCoist ranting:

It’s a shambles. Particularly the Scottish FA. I keep harping back to when Rangers reached the Europa League Final in 2008, it was an absolute embarrassment.

They made us play five league games in 11 days and there was a UEFA final in between it. The head of the SFA George Peat came out and said another club director said to him ‘don’t help Rangers’. I’ve got the quote in front of me. Ex-SFA supremo Peat told the BBC ‘When Rangers got to the final in Manchester, I got a phone call from a prominent chairman of a club requesting me not to help Rangers in any way.

In August 2017 Celtic played Kilmarnock on the Saturday before the long journey to face Astana in a Champions League qualifier on the Tuesday.

The home leg against PSV Eindhoven is on Tuesday August 16, the match away to Hibs on Saturday the 20th with the return match in Eindhoven on Wednesday, August 24.

They’re all well ‘schooled’ in playing the ‘victim’ card. I remember McCoist “rangers have suffered enough” whilst going with same club, huge debt UNPAID et cetera
Their mates in the SFA, SPFL the whole of what was once Scottish media before ‘coming out’ and admitting they’re all huns. Fukk ’em. ALL I crave is their pain. They’re scum and should be treated like SCUM. Flushed.

Ally expects officialdom to be on point on all things regarding sevco, and work betide them if theyre not.Guys worth the watching.Hate to say that about fellow EK man lol.

  • berniebhoy says:

Ally tries to leave people to conclude that the prominent chairman would have been Celtic but my bet would be that it could have been Turbull Hutton who was more upfront than Celtic in opposing the accommodation of Sevco into the SPFL & then the Championship.
Notice, Sally doesn’t say it was the chairmain of a Premier League team; he’s sleekit like that.
