For 45 minutes it seemed as if the Celtic’s players were on a theatre stage as they played to an audience packed in behind the goal they were attacking.
The passing, movement and finishing was breathtaking as they punished Dundee United relentlessly with the second goal, from Kyogo Furuhashi, showing that it wasn’t all fast paced intricate stuff.
Early in the first half Reo Hatate had three shots at goal in the one move but while he was denied his team-mates weren’t.

The fans behind Carljohan Eriksson were loving it, recalling an old time favourite song as they watched Glasgow Celtic putting on the style.
Into the second half they had to watch from afar as five goals flew into the United net, at the final whistle the players returned the compliment as they saluted the fans before being cheered off the pitch.
