John Lundstram has claimed that Union SG were disrespectful with their celebrations following the 2-0 win over the Ibrox Tribute Act in a Champions League qualifier, first leg tie.
The sensitive Scouser played the full 90 minutes as the Belgian minnows enjoyed a victory following a 58 year absence from European competitions.
With the match moved from their home stadium to neutral Leuven there was plenty of reason to celebrate for a side that was playing in the second tier of the Belgian league less than 18 months ago.
Feeding into a highly predictable storyline Lundstram was word perfect as he met the media today to preview the return leg.

You can use whatever motivation you need for this game. Everyone is different. But we have certainly all seen it, we certainly all know it is there and is a touch disrespectful, if you want to say. Listen, we are ready and whatever motivation you need, you can use what you like. We just need to turn up and we will.
The aggregate winners tomorrow night will host PSV Eindhoven or Monaco in the Play Off Round with the first leg at Ibrox or Belgium. A win in the first leg of the Play Off might inspire a respectful celebration from Lundstram and the Europa League runners-up.
