A 3.30am kick-off time is about as inconvenient as you can get but Celtic and beIN Sport put on a show for the bleary eyed Aussie’s watching the first game of the new season.Â
The kick-off time seemed very user friendly for most fans in the Glasgow area and they made their feelings known in the build up to the match.Â
By 4.15 the stadium was virtually full- of bodies and anticipation. As the champions came out the full stadium Tifo came into view and didn’t disappoint with the three big stands each displaying a symbol that was unmistakably Celtic.Â

The Tifo made way for the more traditional chimes of You’ll Never Walk Alone as a variety of scarves as well as the traditional green and white were raised in the air- three minutes into the game the fans were in the air as Stephen Welsh headed the hoops ahead and the season was off and running.Â
