Keith Hackett is the latest former EPL referee to call out Don Robertson over his decision not to send off James Sands after 15 minutes at Ibrox on Saturday.
Already on a booking, the Ibrox defender dragged Jordy Hiwula to the ground with a rugby tackle in full view of Robertson.
Knowing the consequences of an early red card and a suspension for Saturday’s match against Celtic the SFA official shook his head and raised his arms in a gesture that had guilt written all over it.
Dermot Gallagher and Mark Halsey have already condemned the decision, now Hackett has joined in while former Scottish referees have sat in silence.

The FA gave Hackett special permission to carry on refereeing until the age of 50, after stepping down he became General Manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board.
For all these ex refs to come out and all agree that sands should have been off what a total Scottish embarrassment.
Where’s the compliance officer?
All these experts and refs calling it out and still nothing from the SFA or the compliance officer.
They were quick to get the Hibs incidents cleared up surely this deserves the same if not no other word but cheating
