Aiden McGeady was a surprise guest as he dropped in on Celtic’s B team beating Dalbeattie Star 5-0 at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium.
The former Celtic winger is currently out injured but turned up on Sky Sports last Saturday to share his thoughts as Hibs drew 2-2 with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.
Hibs are in action at St Mirren today but with a 12 noon kick-off McGeady dropped in to see Rocco Vata lead the way with a double in the win over Dalbeattie Star.

It was the biggest win of the season for the young hoops who are being guided by Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea.
Tsoanelo Letsosa, Bosan Lawal and Ben Summers scored the other goals as Celtic B followed up on their 3-0 midweek win over Livingston B in the SPFL Trust Trophy.
Almost the same squad will be involved when Celtic begin the UEFA Youth League at home to Real Madrid on September 6.
