One of the emerging stars of the summer transfer widow is Fraser Fletcher.

Virtually unknown at the turn of the year a short stint on The Nine, one of the multitude of BBC channels has given Fletch a taste for the big time and a career in the meejar.

Mixing in the same circles as Kenny Macintyre, Alasdair Lamont, Steven Thompson, Mark Hateley, Jane Lewis and Kenny Miller has clearly rubbed off with Fletcher discovering the formula to advance your career with the state broadcaster.

Alongside claims that Calvin Bassey was sold for a Scottish transfer record and doubling the fee paid for Joe Aribo Fletch knows the value of negative Celtic stories.

Anything tedious or far-fetched that is already swirling around on social media an be guaranteed Fletcher’s attention.

When Fletch types ‘I’m told’ it is a clear attempt to jump on board the BBC gravy train and attain that dream of an invite into an Ibrox zoom call.

Peddling fourth hand rumours seems to be the way to fast-track your way onto the payroll alongside Macintyre, English, Lamont and the rest of the BBC clones.

He’s told! He should be told to go into the living room and continue to watch the cartoons. Also about The Nine programme. On one occasion, a presenter was attempting to tar Celtic with trouble causing the Rangers fans, using the the old chestnut ‘one is as bad as each other’routine.Luckily ,he was put in the blue corner by his interviewee.
