The Union Bears have issued another angry statement over their relationship with the board of the Tribute Act.

The latest issue is that the Ultras group want to be relocated to the centre of the lower Broomloan Stand rather than stuck in the corner, as far out of sight of the television cameras as possible.

Understandably Douglas Park would prefer that the Union Bears keep as low a profile as possible, twice in 2019 their racist chants and songs resulted in partial closures of Ibrox by UEFA.

Taking action in a match against Queen of the South with barely 30,000 fans in the stadium was apparently forced on them ‘after years of broken down dialogue and promises given’.

For six years the Union Bears have been getting fobbed off over the installation of a standing section at Ibrox- just as there is at Celtic Park.

That’s some Statement! About the same number of words as the Irish Republic Proclomation. Doubt if it will carry as much interest though!
