Ryan Kent will miss tomorrow’s Champions League thitd round qualifier away to Union SG.

The Ibrox winger picked up an ankle knock late on in Saturday’s win over Livingston and was left out of the squad that flew to Belgium.

With Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe and Ianis Hagi all crocked and Joe Aribo sold to Southampton for £6m Giovanni van Bronckhorst could be forced to play a new look forward line in tomorrow’s match which could open or close the door on a £40m windfall.

Discussing Kent, The Sun reports:

The winger had a superb second half against Livingston on Saturday, setting up Scott Arfield’s crucial equaliser.

But he sustained an ankle injury late on in Gers’ 2-1 victory and has stayed behind in Glasgow for treatment. It’s unclear whether he’ll be fit for the second leg.

Scott Wright got hooked off at half time against Livingston but could be the most experienced Ibrox forward available to face Union tomorrow night.

Antonio Colak managed just four first half touches against Livingston, none of them in the penalty box but will looks certain to lead the line tomorrow night.

Rabbi Matondo, who is faster that Usain Bolt, missed the win over Livingston due to injury but could be pushed straight into the side with Malik Tillman and Fashion Sakala as the other forward options.

Kent and Morelos are in the final few months of their contracts, if they aren’t sold this month they can sign pre-contract deals in August before quitting as free agents next summer.
