There really is too much involved in Celtic goals to take it all in on first viewing.

The old days of a ball fired down the wing, a cross into the box and a header or shot past the keeper seem to have been replaced by works of art.

Three or four players are involved in moves that open up defences with one ‘lucky’ team mate appearing in front of goal to tap into the net. On Sunday Jota, Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada all converted from those sort of moves.

For goal number three on Sunday Reo Hatate played a key role. Josip Juranovic played an early pass left but by stepping over the ball Hatate took out two United defenders allowing Matt O’Riley to cross deep into the penalty box.

Abada and Kyogo were already doing their thing- two touches later and the ball was in the net with the first hat-trick of the day claimed.

Reo’s a good one. A real cracker. We’re lucky to have a guy like that playing for us!
