PSV Eindhoven fans were up in the middle of the night for a spectacular pre-match fireworks display.

In the dead of night there was an explosion of noise and colour in the Dutch city as the locals warmed up for their Champions League Play-Off.

Last week in Glasgow there was a very muted fireworks show outside the hotel that the PSV players were staying in but they appeared unaffected as they earned a 2-2 draw at Ibrox.

Alfredo Morelos, Ben Davies and John Souttar weren’t in the hotel as Giovanni van Bronckhorst plotted a route into the group stage of the Champions League.

While there was chaos at Easter Road on Saturday the PSV Eindhoven squad have had a full week of training to build on their draw at Ibrox.

After beating Monaco in the previous round the Dutch side are favourites to go through tonight to join Celtic in tomorrow’s draw for the group stage of the competition.
