Sunday’s action against Celtic is unlikely to feature in the show-reel of Sam Walker’s career.
Arriving at Kilmarnock in the summer after spells at Wimbledon, Blackpool, Reading, Colchester and other out-posts Walker is no rookie but it is doubtful if he has faced the sort of onslaught that Ange Postecoglou’s fired in yesterday.
Jota’s 25 yarder was hit with ferocity but the keeper seemed slow to get down towards an overhead kick from Moritz Jenz.
Twice he pulled off saves but Carl Starfelt wasn’t to be denied when he scored Celtic’s fourth.
There was no let up for Walker, conceding an overhead kick from Giorgos Giakoumakis seemed to be the final straw with one Celtic fan highlighting his slow motion collapse into his goal with the ball planted behind him in the net.

Next up for Walker and Kilmarnock is a long trip to Ross County on Saturday which should be less horrific than his Sunday in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
