Tsoanelo Letsosa scored a brilliant goal away to Gretna 2008 as Celtic’s B team wore the all silver/grey kit for the first time.

With the home team wearing black and white hoops the third kit came in useful, looking much better than the launch pictures which received a lukewarm reception, at best on social media.

It has been a hectic schedule for the young Celts who were playing their seventh competitive match since July 23.

After going behind to a second minute own goal the visitors came back strongly although the scores were level at the break with a Gretna defender obliging with an own goal after Bruno Davidson had dribbled deep into the Gretna defence.

Davidson didn’t need any assistance when he put Celtic in front just after the break with the goal of the game coming in the 87th minute.

Ben Summers and Matthew Anderson combined to find Letsosa with 30 yards from goal. Turning quickly to create space he fired in a Jota like shot that the home keeper never got near. In stoppage time Anderson completed the scoring for Celtic with his fourth goal of the season from left-back.

CELTIC B: Oluwayemi, Dede (McPherson), Anderson, Lawal, Corr (Murphy), Otoo, Davidson, Thomson (Kelly), Letsosa, Carse (Summers), Vata (Quinn)

Subs: Dobbie, Morrison
