Alfredo Morelos lasted 13 minutes at Hibs today before being sent off by Willie Collum.
The chunky Colombian hasn’t started a match in five months, despite being in full training for five weeks it looks as if he could benefit from losing at least half a stone.
For some reason Marijan Cabraja seemed to the the target of Morelos’ frustrations today, sent on with his side leading 2-1 the idea was to punish the Hibs defence and get some valuable game time ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League Play Off against PSV Eindhoven.
Morelos had other ideas, clearly he wanted to noise opponents up with the late challenges, flick-outs and flying elbows that Scottish referees have been overlooking for more than two years.

The incident above where he flicked out at Cabraja escaped the attention of Collum and his assistant.
Instead of being grateful for getting away with one he took confidence from it, threw his arms at Cabraja twice in the 75th minute to bring his game to an end.
Down to nine men the visitors were unable to hold on to their lead, two points were dropped giving Celtic the chance to go two points clear tomorrow by beating Hearts at home.
Morelos will be suspended for next Saturday’s home match against Ross County, the next SPFL game that he can play in is against Celtic on September 3.
