For the second fixture running the Ibrox PR team has decided not to host a media conference to preview an SPFL fixture.

BBC Scotland and a few others have been brought back into the fold but so far snivelling Kenny Mac has only been able to ask one question to his Dutch hero.

Media duties used to be part of the SPFL membership but since ignoring the cinch sponsorship deal and getting 11 competitors to provide additional exposure to the SPFL sponsors it is clear that anything goes with the Tribute Act.

BBC Scotland will be hoping to get a one-to-one interview with Giovanni van Bronckhorst before tomorrow’s match against St Johnstone.

An after-match conference is expected with the usual suspects asking questions which inevitably being with ‘Gio you must be pleased with X/Y/Z’ or ‘How happy were you with A/B/C’.

On Monday the Dutch media will be expecting access to the former Feyenoord boss for his thoughts on the Champions League Play Off against PSV Eindhoven which will be a UEFA controlled event.

MSM outlets can pick up some quotes from the in-house interview below, no mention was made of postponing the match against Hibs despite the squeals of Ally McCoist and a few others.
