One significant incident from the weekend seemed to escape the scrutiny of the experts on BBC Sportscene.
Last December a goal scored by Kyogo Furuhashi against Hearts sent the state broadcaster into meltdown with Crawford Allan breaking a holiday to explain to Radio Scotland that the goal might have been, or might not have been disallowed.
On Saturday at Ibrox Kevin Clancy was trusted to deliver the right result. In January Sky Sports were chosen to leak complaints about Clancy’s recent performance, the SFA obliged by dropping Clancy from matches involving van Bronckhorst’s side for four months.
More cheating for Sevco. We must have the most corrupt officials in world football. https://t.co/gfQ6BZJiZf

Needing a morale boosting win between the games against Union SG, Alfredo Morelos was sent on for the last half hour.
With five minutes left to play the Colombian was on the goal line as one of his team-mates attacked the left-hand side of the Kilmarnock defence- CLEARLY OFFSIDE.
Fortunately Clancy and his assistant failed to notice an attacking player in an offside position inside the six yard box, the ball was played across goal, Morelos stepped back to score and put the game beyond Kilmarnock.
Clancy won’t have to wait four months for another match involving van Bronckhorst’s side.
There’s El Chubbalo offside for the second. I expect Crawford Allan will be out to condemn this tomorrow ? pic.twitter.com/EBMk9UKr1Z

Don Robertson was the referee in all of these games and he didn’t show a red card to any of the players. pic.twitter.com/0XYVErHAfr
