Ange Postecoglou has one special card to surprise Real Madrid with

Ange Postecoglou has one wildcard that he can unleash on Real Madrid tonight- Sead Haksabanovic.

The winger has got just 15 minutes to his Celtic career but could be called on for a role tonight just two weeks after signing from Rubin Kazan.

Real Madrid will have had Celtic well watched, they’ll be well aware of the speed of free-kicks and throw-ins but Haksabanovic will be something of a mystery to them.

They’ll know the 23-year-old from his days with Rubin and how he has played for Montenegro but where he fits in at Celtic is unknown, even to those that watch Celtic closest.

Branded initially as a winger, then as a forward it seems that that the player himself sees himself as a Number 10 although that is a position largely redundant in Postecoglou’s system.

At Ross County he came on to play on the left wing, showing blistering pace and a preference for coming in towards goal rather than heading straight down the flank.

It would be a shock if Haksabanovic is in the starting XI but as the match develops into the later stages he could well have a role to play, providing Celtic with a jump start against tiring defenders.
