Ange Postecoglou is taking full advantage of being in Europe for the first time.
The 57-year-old had spent almost all of his coaching career in Japan and Australia where watching live European football involves watching matches at very anti-social hours.
Only the most fanatical will be setting the 4am alarm to watch a Champions League match, watching games on delay isn’t quite the same as you avoid the follow up debates and discussions.

The beauty about living in Europe is that literally every night of the week, I’ll put the kids to bed about seven or eight o’clock and then I’ll put my feet up and there’ll be a game on.
For me that’s brilliant. It’s heaven, football heaven. Whether it’s Champions League or it’s La Liga or it’s the Premier League or it’s the Bundesliga it’s all on there at eight o’clock at night. So that’s how I finish my day. I can watch it (without analysing it), I just love watching football.
Mrs Postecoglou must be very accommodating if Ange is watching football at home most nights of the week.
Next week the Celtic boss will be off on his travels with Destination Liepzig as Celtic get to tackle their third Champions League opponent.
Two matches over seven days against the German club will go a long way towards deciding Celtic’s fate, if they can take three points from those fixtures they will be in a strong position going into the final group stage matches.
